The Story Behind the Lens‍ ‍

I was born and raised in Guyana and moved here to the US at the age of 15. Growing up I didn’t have much but those days in Guyana were some of my best memories but unfortunately I wasn’t able to capture a lot of those moments on camera. Now that I have taken up photography and have grown to love it, I try to document more of this journey called life, my wife and I as a couple and as parents, our daughter’s growth and our relationship with family and friends. All because having those memories to reminisce about are golden in my opinion and are sometime once in a life time experiences.‍ ‍I was around 9 years old when I first saw a SLR camera in person and from ever since I wanted to know how they operate, fast-forward to years later when I bought my first camera, I learned all I wanted to learn about how a camera operates and more. I learned how to shoot manually, learned about lighting both natural and artificial and also composition to capture photos that tell a story. From the first day I started to all these years later I really do enjoy this craft and taking photos that others love to look back at and must importantly I love making others laugh and helping them feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera, so that they have a memorable session that reflects in their pictures.
